  WHAT HAPPENED?

  The PSV stars were on cloud nine after sealing the Eredivisie title with a comprehensive 4-2 win over Sparta Rotterdam on Sunday. After winning the title for the 2023-24 season, the players celebrated wildly in the dressing room, where they were joined by sporting director and former USMNT star Earnie Stewart.

  THE BIGGER PICTURE

  USMNT stars Ricardo Pepi, Malik Tillman and Sergino Dest were an integral part of the Dutch side that enjoyed huge success in the current campaign. PSV are currently 12 points clear of nearest challengers Feyenoord and have also scored an impressive 107 goals in just 32 games this season and still have two matches left to play. The only downside of the campaign has been a serious injury to Barcelona loanee Dest, who is not expected to return to the pitch until 2025.

  Peter Bosz's side will be next seen in action on May 12 as they take on Fortuna Sittard in their penultimate game of the season.
